CLUB RUB AUGUST THEME - A NIGHT OF SHOOTING STARS A Night of Shooting Stars - think images of glamour and success. Film stars, celebrities, famous people, superstar DJ's, soap stars, iconic movie stars and the films they have played in. The femme fatale to leading man. Oscar nominated and vintage sirens. Then there are the pop stars, rock Gods, hip hop gangsters to booty shaking dancers - together they all makes a Night of Shooting Stars. From A-list to Z-list everybody can have their 15 minutes of fame. It's glamour all the way at Club RUB. Just follow the red carpet...

Now 'Shooting Stars' need a STUDIO and we have one for you! Those of you who know how to turn it on, come dressed for the red carpet (or that fall from grace mug-shot). Be sure to make an impression when you're there because there's only one thing worse than being talked about...and that's not being talking about! The red carpet will bring you to the Hollywood style photo studio for your casting call. Have your picture taken whilst collecting your Oscar or trophy cup (props we will give you). Or imagine you're performing at some music awards and you're strutting your stuff in front of the microphone, saxophone or air guitar (inflatable ones). I promise you will ALL on the RUB website.

NEWS

Next month means that Club RUB has been at Parker McMillan 12 months and it's the best moved I've ever made. I absolutely love the venue and think it totally works for RUB. Let me have your thoughts on this. Also now we have swapped the dance floor over with the dungeon, there is more space for both areas and it's works so much better.

The featured 'Dungeon Domme' for August is Mistress Rebekka Raynor www.rebekka raynor.com. As guest mistress she will be there for, advise and help on the night or, just a jolly good spanking. Have you been good? Thank you to Countess de Jager for excellent job done in July.

Calling all players - come and check out the new dungeon. Last month it was packed! There're loads of new pieces of equipment including a medical area which has a white gynaecological couch with a retro medical trolley and white fabric screen not to mention the tan coloured gynaecological bench with stirrups - I expect to see doctors and nurses playing in this area - Oh Matron!

The two new areas feature a grand throne, St. Andrews cross, step style whipping bench. gatefold whipping frame, two more whipping benches, long grope corridor, sex sling (courtesy of fettered pleasures.com) and a free standing St. Andrews cross. Oh! did I mention the Harem Den which is curtained and full of over-sized cushions. Phil is the new Dungeon Manager and will be wearing a badge so you can easily identify him. He will help you and tell you who the Featured Mistress is too. The next Featured Mistress is Rebekka Raynor for August and September will be Mistress Suzie. Calling all Mistresses - fancy being 'the featured dominatrix'?

Skin Two Rubber Ball Weekend is gearing up. Club RUB is hosting the Sunday evening event - Lounge Lizard. Go on line to see the updated info http://www.skin tworubberball.com.

This month the Best Outfit competition prize went to Mike (see below). He looked like a fabulous peacock and won the beautiful ornate bottle of rose liqueur! Pushing the boundaries!

It's got to be Champagne as the main prize for a night of Shooting Stars. Wear your most dazzling outfit as you could be the winner of the monthly Best Outfit Effort competition.

Just a quick one to let you know I came to Club Rub last night as I'd promised myself and had a brilliant time. You've got a great club there and I can't wait until the next one. Next time I'll come to say hello. Thanks for your encouragement. Julian.

I actually had a nightmare getting to the club because of a totally useless taxi driver. I had a 40 minute wait then he couldn't get on the right side of the road to get to he front doors of my hotel! I'm dressed as a girl in a skimpy outfit and he wants me to take a 5 minute walk across a main road etc!! Anyway, to cut a (very) long and frustrating story, I arrived at 130am!! So annoying! Still, my hour and a half at Rub made up for it. It was excellent! Some very beautiful people and some very sexy things going on in the BDSM room. I even had a really hot girl wanting me to be dominate on her equally hot boyfriend within 45 minutes of being in the place! As you know I've been on the scene long enough now to know that the summer months are quiet. I suppose people go on holiday, barbys, music festivals, weddings etc and RUB is no different to any club - you're quieter! One thing stays the same though - the atmosphere is always fantastic and sexy. Where did all those cute people come from last Sat? Anyway keep up the good work and for those that are going to all the summer functions - you're missing out! Johnny XXX

Where else can you find a place on a Saturday night where the crowd is like a second family? Where else can you find a place all night that plays such top house and funk tunes ALL night? Where else can you find a place that has such a friendly atmosphere that even if you are a new comer the place feels like a second home as you are welcomed and looked after? The drink prices are not extortionate like you would find in most clubs and you have the mixture of free comfortable seating area, play areas, great dance floor and of course the fabulous staff that make Club Rub what it is..............where else?........but the one and only.........Club Rub..........Why go anywhere else.
