This is one of the most popular themed events of the whole year and we look forward to it, and for a very good reason: Naughty Schoolgirls! We like to see those plaid skirts, pigtails, sexy glasses, lollipops and knee-high stockings.

Every generation has interpreted school uniform to reflect the moods of the day, from sixties mini skirts and mod style skinny black shiny trousers to seventies platforms and glitter ties. Customise, embellish, accessorise and plagiarise. Use badges, metals, fur, sequins, milk cartons or whatever you like to express your creativity and stand out from the crowd. Just build from these compulsory basics...

TIE
Compulsory for girls and boys wearing regular school uniform. Looks best when stripy - vertical, horizontal or diagonal. Old school ties are great. Sprinkle paint on yours, write on it with fabric glitter glue or add a few buttons. Wear it around your waist, arm or as a belt.

TOPS
Light shirts are best - pale blue, grey, light tan or white. Black shirts for the school Goths! Crop them, tie them short or tight and sexy. Cardigans, waistcoats and blazers finish the look.

BOTTOMS
Shorts. Absolutely No Fabric Trousers. Unless they are in rubber, leather and PVC. Skirts - black, grey, tartan, pleated, wrap over. Shorts, pinafores, big pants & leggings. Looks best in dark colours (navy, black, brown or grey). No denim or fabric ever.

SHOES
Lace ups, Mary Jane's, stilettos - ANY sexy footwear...even trainers with sexy gym kit.

You can break out of the standard school uniform but only if you keep a strong fetish school theme.
• Summer and gingham dresses for girls are allowed. Junior school cute kids.
• School characters such as netball teams, cricketers, headmasters, caretakers, dinner lady, school mistress, tennis players, janitors are O.K.
* Stockings, hold-ups, over the knee socks, fishnets, striped socks, even tights are optional – not compulsory!
* Cheerleader and convent nuns too!

You might want to spruce up your uniform with some cool accessories, straw hat, school cap, wooden ruler, black eye, blacked out teeth, pig tails, school scarf, leather belt around some books, bible, national health glasses, freckles, satchel, cane, catapult, straw boater for geography teacher, mortar board and cape.

Add your own take on it with inspiration from Glam Rock to Punk to Urban there's infinite ways to wear your school uniform. Remember not fabric trousers unless short and they are part of a uniform - that includes the school cap.
