SPIRIT + FLESH UK - FAKIR MUSAFAR IN LONDON

As you may know, Fakir Musafar is coming to the UK for the first time in 12 years. His visit - produced by our own London Faerie and funded by the Arts Council - is the most ambitious kinky arts event ever staged in the UK.

Two events are of particular interest to LFS members:

Friday 18th May

Initiation performance at Torture Garden Body Probe

For TG Body Probe, Fakir will create a unique suspension ritual performance with his partner Cleo Dubois, traci joy burleigh and Elwood – also featuring Lee Adams (KAOS), London Faerie and Kamelyan. This is Fakir's only public suspension performance during the Spirit + Flesh UK visit. Performance starts at 11.30pm sharp!

Friday 25th / Saturday 26th May

Spirit + Flesh UK Intense Piercing Experience

The visit culminates in a unique opportunity to participate in a ritualistic Intense Piercing Experience – something that Fakir has never done before in the UK. The Piercing Experience is particularly relevant to body-based artists who are looking to develop and deepen their practice. To encourage this we have reserved a number of concessionary places for UK-based artists. The Piercing Experience will take place on Saturday 26th May with a briefing the evening before.

Thanks to the generous support of LAM there are 6 concessionary places available for those with low income. Applications from kinky people are particularly encouraged.

To be eligible for these concessions you must complete the Call for Participants by Sunday 15th April
