The LondonFetishScene has a sophisticated advertising system in which adverts can be booked to appear on the site for a set periods of time and at fixed display rates. A password protected information pannel allows the advertsier access to the site to that number of displays and click thru's can be viewed.

How much does it cost? It depends on the coverage you want but basically between £20 and £50 a month.

Further down the page we have a detailed rate card allowing you to customise an advert to your own particular needs. However if you don't want to have to work this out for your self we have put together some standard packages which you can choose from.

Standard Packages

The cost to advertise in the north position (top of page) is;

Advertisement slots are purchased in blocks of 1000 displays to be run over a preset number of days. The campaign can be of any duration providing the average number of displays per day is at least 100. An advertisement can be booked to appear in one of 2 spaces on the page and will appear randomly throughout the site.

For example 9,000 displays can be purchased over a 30 day period which equates to a 300 displays a day. However if so desired the maximum duration of the campaign could be extended to 90 days with an average of 100 displays per day. Generally we would recomend daily display rates of between 200 - 600 a day

Side adverts can be up to 200 pixels wide and 300 pixels high, banner adverts can be upto 600 pixels wide and 100 pixels high. Adverts should not exceed 40Kb in size.

There is a setup fee of £10 per advert. All booking must be paid for in full before the advert goes live.

Discounts are offered for block booking of advertising slots. To qualify for the discount the advertisement booking must be made at a single point in time and paid for in advance. Multiple advertisements can be booked and the total number of displays is totalled to calculate the discount. The discount is applied to the final invoice price.

How does it work?

During each day the system will look at the total advertising booked for that day and then display individual advertisements randomly throughout the day. Should there be more possible displays available than have been booked then the system will allocate additional bonus displays (free of charge) based on a pro-rata allocation of booked displays.

Due to fluctuations in the number of people accessing the site it is possible that the daily allocation of paid displays may not be used up. In this case any unused allocation will be carried forward to the next day.

Should there be paid for displays remaining at the end of the campaign then additional days will be allocated for the advertisement until all the paid for displays have been used.

When booking the advertisement you can request an end-date for the campaign; this is useful for banners advertising a particular event that is linked to a specific date. When the end-date has been reached the advert will cease to be displayed and any remaining paid for displays credited to the account which can then be used for future adverts.

The system maintains a database of displays (both paid and bonus) and number of click-throughs. On booking the advert you will be given access to a website which will show the number of paid for displays, number of bonus displays and the number of click-throughs for your advertisement.

Advertisements can be supplied either as GIF or JPEG.

The site is run by a team of volunteers on a non profit basis. Advertising is used to support the cost of hosting the site. By taking out advertising on the LFS website you are not only contacting potential customers in a highly cost effective manner but also helping to keep the LF a free resource for the wider fetish community.
