The Night of the Senses debuts at its new venue, the Renaissance Rooms in Vauxhall on Saturday with a great line-up of performances, including Irina Ionesco from Paris and William Levy from Amsterdam.

The night starts with the finals of the www.erotic-awards.co.uk. The stage-show features fashion shows, performance art, readings and striptease. The work of all the finalists is exhibited, and the winners presented with golden flying penis trophies, hand carved for us in Bali. But there has been quite a journey by then..

Nominees include artists, photographers, on-line shops and this year's "outsiders award" will be presented to Alison Lapper MBE, the disabled artist whose pregnant form sits atop the Fourth Plinth Trafalgar Square. She speaks eloquently on disability rights and won the International Woman of the Year Award in 2005.

After the awards, the party really begins as hosts, hostesses, jesters and stewards ensure nobody is left out. Peep-holes allow the shy and the resting to observe the incredible sexual encounters being enjoyed by other guests. The party will enjoy a Summer Terrace with Messy Eating, female wrestling contests, and a Seedy and Sleazy corner. Fuck For Forest have their own photo booth. And -- as always -- Roissy will be on hand to introduce peopel to the delights of their fully equipped dungeon.

The night raises funds for Outsiders , a unique club for disabled people to make new friends and find sexual partners. Outsiders runs the Sex and Disability Helpline and other campaigning, coordinating and educational projects. Outsiders is now 27 years old and this longevity is thanks to the fundraising efforts of the Leydig Trust (which runs the Erotic Awards and the Night of the Senses .)

Money raised by the Leydig Trust last year was £6000, but we hope to increase this in 2006 to allow Outsiders to occupy a much-needed larger office. So as well as having a fantastic night out, you'll go home knowing much of your £50 has gone to a good home.
