WHAT IS IT?

"The Chosen One" (working title) is a flagship, primetime series for Channel 4 that will air towards the end of the year. Fundamentally this is a smart, cerebral reality game show, with a massive cash prize at the heart of it!

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are aiming to attract an eclectic mix of individuals from a range of backgrounds (social, cultural, political, religious or environmental) who have strength of mind and bundles of character! Though the show is not political in its nature, we believe it is necessary to incorporate groups from all walks of life whose opinions reflect a contingent within the UK. We want intelligent, articulate individuals who relish a psychological challenge!

REALITY ENVIRONMENT?

The show does have a reality element to it. The participants will be living alongside a number of other individuals in a specially designed environment. However, please DO NOT confuse this with Big Brother! We are NOT interested in watching people eat, sleep or brush their teeth! The show is pre-recorded and goes out later in the year so it is not streamed live and the participants are not subject to a public vote.

The reality aspect of the show is purely to enable the viewer to witness how people play the games and the tactics they employ.

...WITH GAME SHOW ELEMENT?

The game show element requires more strength of character and determination than an abundance of general knowledge. It is not a case of question and answer but will involve mental challenges where negotiation and persuasion are key factors to your success!!

QUICK SUMMARY

-"The Chosen One" (working title) will be a new flagship, primetime series for Channel 4.

-It is part reality show and part game show.

-You will be living alongside a number of other individuals in a specially designed environment.

-You will take part in games and activities, none of which are physical; they will all be mental challenges involving negotiation and persuasion.

-You will have the chance to win a huge cash prize!

-You will be able to talk to Producers at any time and of course your friends and family will be able to contact you in emergencies.

-You will be catered for during the show.

-You will be required for no longer than three weeks in September and the show will go out later in the year.

- You need to be aged between 18-40 years old.

- The closing date for applications is this FRIDAY 21^st.
